This app combines a KataGo-based Go engine with a minimalist UI that avoids unnecessary decorations, so you can focus on the flow of stones and territory. From beginner games on 9×9, through 13×13 for training your sense of shape and direction, to deep-reading games on 19×19, it is designed so you can switch board sizes and enjoy all of them in a single app.

KataGo tuned for practical use on smartphones

• The CPU version of KataGo is tuned to aim for move times of a few seconds even on 19×19 boards.
• Settings are adjusted to balance playing strength and response time so that thinking speed stays practical on mobile devices.

One app for 9×9, 13×13, and 19×19

• You can switch freely between 9×9 for learning, 13×13 for training your sense of direction, and 19×19 for full-board games.

Landscape full-screen 19×19 board

• Landscape mode supports a layout where a 19×19 board stretches across the full width of the screen.
• Margins and line contrast are carefully tuned so that stone positions and territorial boundaries are easy to see, even on a phone.

Two styles of AI in one app

• The app is designed around a configuration where you can switch between a handcrafted engine such as “UniversalProEngine” and KataGo, letting you choose between a more human-like style and a full-strength AI.
• Depending on your mood, you can enjoy both “natural-feeling” play and reading-oriented games against a strong AI.
